I Know I caused a lot of problems over the years but I want you to know that I always knew I could count on You to be there. I have a lot of fond memories of things that happened when I was growing up. These are just a few of them.
The time I dragged you around the fields looking for a Fossil. I finally found one. I marked it and you helped me cart it home the next night. I shouldnít have embarrassed the family by telling the kids at show and tell that you called Butter, Buster but I just thought it was funny. I still do You have a good sense ! of humor. We got to enjoy some Baseball games Together. Then in High School when I was having so many problems getting along, a thoughtless Teacher made the remark that I needed a Psychiatrist. You jumped out of the chair and said "you donít ever say any thing like that in front of my daughter". No one had ever come to my defense like that before. No matter how I messed up you were always there. We didnít always agree on things but when I was on rock bottom and knew I needed a spirituality in my life it was you I looked to. You didnít judge me as so many others had. You left that for one far greater.
On this Fathers Day I just wanted to let you know that Iím Proud to have you for My Dad. Their couldnít have been a better one anywhere than You.
