Of Vitamin Treatment

is being researched right now. A "randomized trial", testing
against a
placebo pill, started this past June; the researchers are still extremely
excited about it. As soon as I see even one person respond, with my own
eyes
in my own practice, I'll be writing about it on my website. Until then,
let's wait for some say-so more than a few excited people (there are just too
many treatments that aroused a great deal of excitement until the randomized
trials were done -- check out Neurontin, for example...).
Are you referring to the True hope/Synergy Group protocol? I am so eager to
get info on this. Do you know anyone who has actually used the program?
Charlene
Dear Charlene --
Correct: that's the reference (www.truehope.com). Tried it on one patient
so far. No improvement after 2 weeks, then she got some cardiac
abnormalities -- not sure if its due to the nutritional supplement or some one
of my several medications. The Synergy people are very big on the
importance of cutting down the conventional med's, and I may have waited too
long (I was waiting for some evidence of effectiveness first...). She
still has the cardiac rhythm problems, and required a telemetry stay last week
-- but again, I'm not sure if the supplement had anything to do with it.
That's the sum total of my experience with it so far. Will post more as I
acquire it.
