Dear Dr Phelps,

I am writing to you at the request of my brothers girlfriend,wondering if you knew about a drug called SAMe(s-Adenosyl-L-Methionine) as a treatment for BiPolar disorder.

She has also got seasonal affected disorder,and the medications she has been put on up to date have not removed the depressed state. She has also had the shock treatment last year and said that was helpful although lost short term memory. I don't know which medication she was put on this time but could find out if necessary. Any information in my research will be passed onto the Psychiatrist she sees.

We have heard good reports on this drug(SAM-e)
