Dr. Phelps,

My 23 yr. old daughter has been put on depacote and lithium for a dx of bipolar II.  Is this usual for this dx?  She was on Paxil for 2 years before her dx.  The paxil didn't help much. I never can find much info about bipolar II.  Is is common and more/less severe than bipolar.  Any info will help.  Thanks
