My daughter and I are both BP we both take Topamax, I seem to think we both have a lot of yeast present in our bodies.....am I imagining this.  She has had thrush.....I have had a few yeast infections, she has athletes foot and a yeast infection or two, I know these are are all fungal infections revolving around yeast, is it possible that Topamaz is partially to blame??  I know my mouth is always dry, her lips are a mess, so dry they crack etc, we both started about the same time....we do not live together and barely see each other, but when we see each other we talk I am suprised.

Searching "Topamax yeast infection" on Google, yes there do seem to be other reports of this, quite a few. What to do about it? Doesn't look like anyone has figured that part out yet. I haven't heard of this from my patients (yet).
