Q:  Has rTMS Been Approved?
 

Dear Dr. Phelps, I saw your reply to a woman in 2003 regarding rTMS treatments and you said you were hoping to offer such treatments once they were approved. Have they been approved? If they have, I would like to have the treatments. My symptoms are voices that will not cease. I have also been very depressed most all of my life. I have very little mania.

Not yet but that is getting closer. And voices that won't stop is getting to be one of the more researched targets; it might be one of the main ones, in fact. Looks like it's about 1-3 years away, by my inexperienced (in matters regulatory) guess.
